Studio Gallery

Picture
The studio barn has quite a history of it's own! The property was once a cider house where apples were brought from nearby orchards and pressed into cider. Some of the cider was often left to harden in the basement cistern. I have heard that many good times were had here at tasting parties!

Open Studio Weekend

Picture
Every Memorial day weekend Battenkill River Pottery participates in the state wide Vermont Open Studio Tour. 2011 marked our 5th anniversary and we added a Fall Open Studio event over Columbus day weekend. This year we will be starting an annual Holiday Open Studio, December 10 from 12-4.  You are invited to stop by and see whats new in the studio. This is your chance to get that one of a kind handmade gift for that special someone!
